IMPORTANT FACTS:

Jarrett WISE Thrift Shoppe  is a program of Sudbury Developmental Services – Sunrise Foundation, a non profit agency that:

  • Provides training and a work place for developmentally disabled adults. The items donated to us are processed, sorted, sold and recycled at our location.
  • Has been recycling community donations since 1980.
  • Helps community individuals in need of clothing and household items who are in crisis or referred by other community agencies.
  • Annually recycles 400,000 pounds of clothing which is sent to Third World countries.
  • Recycles 30,000 pounds of metal annually.
  • Is a pioneer in preserving and protecting our environment since the 1980's.
  • Is a very proactive and active lead partner of the Sudbury Landfill Diversion Initiative.
  • To date we are proud to report over 60,000,000 tons of landfill diversions.
